Overview
Clarence Thomas Ltd. Home Center (CTL) – Virgin Gorda is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian you will be responsible for ensuring that our premises are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. You will work independently and as part of a team to clean and disinfect all areas of the building, including offices, store, and restrooms. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies, reporting any maintenance issues, and performing other duties as required. Applicant must have at least three to five (3 to 5) years’ experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Sweeps, mops, waxes, and polishes floor.
- Dusts and polishes furniture.
- Washes windows, walkways, and walls.
- Empties and cleans waste receptacles daily and picks up refuse.
- Replenishes supplies in rest rooms daily, ordering required supplies at least once weekly.
- Cleans all dishes, appliances, and furniture in the kitchen.
- Cleans restrooms, mirrors, urinals, toilets, washbowls, and tiles daily.
- Cleans private offices of office personnel and senior managers.
- Picks up refuse from grounds.
- Handles sanitary supplies and cleaning equipment with care, unpacks, and stores supplies neatly, avoiding wasting of cleaning material.
- Maintains custodial supplies and equipment.
- Notifies General Manager immediately concerning work-related accidents, injuries, or the need for repairs.
- Performs any other duties, as assigned.

Required Education Level: High School Diploma / Certificate
Years of Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in a similar environment. One (1) year of experience in retail and customer service.
Job Wage (minimum): $8.00 per hour
