The BVI Chamber of Commerce & Hotel Association presented the Business of the Year – Commerce Award to Clarence Thomas Ltd. (CTL) Home Center at the Superstore, Fish Bay, and Tortola.
Chairman of BVICCHA’s 2016 Gala Committee, St. Clair Springette presented the prestigious award to owners Michael and David Thomas as they celebrated the store’s first anniversary at its new location with the start of CTL’s Christmas and Anniversary Savings Campaign, offering reduced prices from December 14th to the 24th.
“This award is for our hard-working staff as well as the public for its more than 40 years of continuous support for CTL and over the past year of our new Superstore. It’s only going to get better. Thank you BVI public… Happy Holidays.” said COO David Thomas.
Commenting on the 2017 plans for CTL Home Center, CEO Michael Thomas said that the BVI community will be impressed with the store’s new direction. “We look forward to the journey ahead with the acquisition of a new manager and the inclusion of Bell’s Café early next year, named in honor of our matriarch, mother Maybell Thomas.” He added.
According to Mr. Springette, the BVICCHA Business Awards Gala was established to honor and recognize the commitment, service, and innovation of persons and businesses within the local Business and Hospitality sectors. It is an opportunity for the BVI community to acknowledge the outstanding services and contributions of our colleagues at a formal celebration.
Clarence Thomas Limited Home Center received overwhelming support for the Business of the Year (Commerce) Award by the 250 BVICCHA Members.
